What Happens During Your Appointment? Here’s Exactly What to Expect
We know that visiting a pregnancy center for the first time can feel overwhelming. You might be scared, confused, or unsure what to expect. We want you to feel completely comfortable, so here’s exactly what will happen during your visit – step by step.

Your First Appointment Timeline
What to expect in an easy, step-by-step guide:
Total time: 45-60 minutes (We work around your schedule and take as much time as you need.)
- Welcome & Check-In (5 minutes)
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our friendly reception staff. We’ll ask for basic information – name, contact information, date of birth, and ID. You don’t need any paperwork or insurance.
- Meet with Your Advocate (15-20 minutes)
You’ll meet one-on-one with a trained advocate in a private, comfortable room. This is your time to share your story, ask questions, and discuss your situation. We’re here to listen, not to judge or pressure you.
- Free Pregnancy Test (5 minutes)
If you haven’t taken a pregnancy test or want to confirm your results, we’ll provide a lab-quality pregnancy test. Results are ready in 3-5 minutes.
- Free Ultrasound Referral (5-10 minutes)
If your pregnancy test is positive and you’d like to confirm the pregnancy and see how far along you are, we’ll refer you to a partner center in the area for an ultrasound performed by a licensed medical professional.
- Options Counseling (As Long as You Need)
We’ll discuss all of your options — parenting, adoption, and abortion facts — in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. You can ask any questions you have. We’ll provide accurate information about each so that you can make a fully-informed decision.
- Next Steps (Based on Your Choice)
Depending on what you decide, we can connect you with resources, ongoing support, material assistance, or whatever else you need. There’s no obligation to use our services — we’re here however you need us.
